Rise, the time has come
for you to build my house.
It shall be beautiful,
and there with you my Spirit shall remain.
I will be with you
and stir you with my voice.
I will command this work;
consider now, then rise to build my house.

Give careful thought to your ways:
You work, but wages seem to fly away;
you expected much, but my hand withheld,
to bring you back to me.

Rise from your place of ease
and come and build my house.
Be strong and encourage all
to put off sin, return and honor me.
I will shake the earth
and heavens with my voice.
My house, more than wood and stone,
but worshipers who find my presence there.

The glory of my house will be
that I have made a covenant of peace;
from this day you'll find the curse removed,
and blessings I'll bestow.

For the desire of all the earth is come,
the one who conquered death and sin and hell
on the cruel cross, that ransomed souls
forever worship me.
